Over the past several weeks, we’ve become good friends with the Limmer/Jahn family – Alexandra is Margaret’s “BFNZ” (Best Friend in New Zealand), Katherina and William enjoy playing many games together, Angie and Brigid share many interests including baking, and Arno and Mark enjoy talking IT (which generally means Mark complaining about the technology and Arno listening sympathetically). In addition to helping out in many ways over the last stressful week, they had us over for dinner on our last night in Christchurch. After feasting on German food, but before an amazing kiwi Pavlova dessert, we posed for a couple of pictures. We'll sure miss them. We're looking forward to talking on Skype in the opposite direction than we've been doing recently (i.e. US to NZ).
