Open House

Before we left the area we wanted to be able to say goodbye to, thank, and visit with the numerous people who’ve made our visit so memorable. An open house seemed like a good medium. Mark and I invited several people, and had the kids invite their friends and families. It was a beautiful afternoon. I think the kids especially enjoyed a little unstructured time with their friends after putting in many hours of packing and sorting of their “stuff.” William ran several groups of kids down to the tree swing that had been such a fun treat for them. The families of the friends our kids have made came by, one of Mark’s colleague attended, and even Bishop Barry stopped in for a cuppa. We’ve made some wonderful friends and hope to come back to visit them in the future. For the near future, we’ll be sure to keep in touch through cyberspace. The above picture shows Margaret with her good friends Anna, Alexandra, and Theresa. Below is Ben with his mates from school Jeremy and Tom.
